A typical household (of 2-3 people and with 10-12 panels) with 2,700 kWh of solar generation and a battery with a capacity of 3kWh will pay £0 over a year, based on January 2026 (Import and Export) Empower Tracker Exclusive 12m v2 & Export Exclusive 12m v2 tariff rates. Assumes that solar generation is prioritised to power the home with excess stored in the battery. Battery discharge is prioritised for use in peak hours. The battery is topped up using imported energy in night/off-peak hours and discharged during the peak. Excess energy not used for the home/ when the battery is full is exported.

(2) This tariff is backed yearly by 100% zero carbon nuclear electricity as standard. The UK fuel mix disclosure information published by the government (DESNZ) recognises electricity generated from wind, solar and nuclear produces zero carbon dioxide emissions at the point of generation. (4) Safety isolation switch requirement – Important Information: To ensure full electrical isolation, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to health and safety standards, your property must have the necessary isolation switch installed. If your property does not currently meet this requirement, we will arrange the installation for you. Please note this will incur an upfront charge, which will be clearly explained and discussed with you by your Sales Agent prior to signing the contract for your solar installation.
